Arrangements for the purchase of the service

The following information is a guideline and can be modified or altered to meet individual needs and preferences.

  • Informal contact: An enquiry from a service user, Care manager, friend, family, carer or support worker.

  • An appointment is made to make a visit to see and discuss the provision.

  • A negotiated assessment is made involving all concerned to assess whether the identified needs can be met by the project.

  • An induction day is organised if funding is available. No charge is made for the induction day.

The Project will aim to offer a provision to people across a wide range of Learning Disability, whilst recognising that the environment and resourcing has to be appropriate to meet individual needs and that realistic success needs to be experienced by all people using the Project.

The project is open Monday to Friday 9am-4pm, excluding public and bank holidays. We are usually open for 48 weeks of the year.

Transport arrangements are negotiated and agreed on a case by case basis. This is dependent on location and funding.
